Grace L. Ruff

The death of Grace Louise Ruff of Beechwood occurred on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born October 10, 1921 in Hillendale, NB she was the daughter of the late James and Jennie (Greenleaf) Hatheway. She was also predeceased by her husband, Ivan Ruff; 4 brothers; granddaughter, Jeannie Marie and great great granddaughter, Elaina Marie.

Grace was a creative woman, handcrafting many quilts that are treasured by her family and friends. She also enjoyed knitting and cooking. Grace was a dedicated employee and gave over 26 years of service to McCain Foods. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Grace is survived by her 4 children, Barbara Curtis (Lloyd), Robert Ruff (Geraldine), Donnie Ruff (Donna) and Janice How (Jonathan); 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; 1 sister, Greta Nichol as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held from the Bath United Baptist Church on Friday, November 27, 2015 from 4-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 1:00 pm from the church. Pastors Grant Milroy, Harold Price and Toben Steeves will be officiating. Interment will be held in the Holmesville Free Will Baptist Cemetery.
