Olga Jones

The death of Olga Veda Myrtle Jones of Upper Kent occurred on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at the Grand Falls General Hospital. Born July 1, 1920 she was the daughter of the late Walter and Myrtle (Anderson) Smith. She was also predeceased by 1 son, Roger; 8 siblings, Ivan, Ormand, Melvin, Doris, Jean, Edith, Oscar and Irwin.

Olga is survived by her loving husband, Arthur; 2 children Alan Jones (Kim) and Carol Grant; 4 grandchildren, Aaron Jones (Tanya), Melissa Jones, Haley Jones (Stephen Mieto) and Emily Jones; 4 great grandchildren; Whitney Sipprell, Colden Sipprerll, Liam Mieto and Rachel Jones.

Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at 2:30 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Carl DeMerchant will officiate. Interment will be in the Wharton Cemetery. Donations made to the Wharton Cemetery or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 37, Florenceville would be appreciated.
