Wallace "Wally" Giggie
Wallace Edwin Giggie of Bubartown, formerly of Gregg Settlemet and Bolton, Ontario passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Wallace was born July 3, 1935 and was the son of the late Harry and Cora (Donovan) Giggie of Gregg Settlement. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his partner of more than 20 years, Gertrude Chase; 3 brothers, Henry, Phylman and Howard; 1 sister, Mary Elizabeth.

Wallace is survived by 1 sister, Janet Graham of Upper Gullies, (Newfoundland); 4 sons, James Giggie (Kelly), Edward Giggie (Danielle), William "Bill" Giggie (Fiona) and Chris Giggie all of Ontario; 6 inherited children, Kathy Chase (Sam Allen), Holly MacLean (Larry), Keith Chase (Dawn), Eric Chase (Norma), Wanda Foster (Blair) and Margaret Budrow (Stephen); 22 grandchildren, Jordon, Foster, Jessica, Jennifer, Jonathan, Julia, Tara, Ciara, Cory, Bradley, Diedra, Quinn, Laura, Akayla, Ryan, Taylor, Corey, Charity, Dustin, Stephaine, Chase and Kasey; 8 great grandchildren, Hallie, Avree, Nash, Bauer, Rylynn, Kiera, Scarlett and Aubree as well as his cat, Kramer several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Wallace "Wally" moved to Ontario in his teens and worked as a Sprinkler Fitter and raised his family until he retired and moved back to Gregg Settlement. Here he met Gertrude with who he shared his life for more than 20 years. Wally was known as a hard working man who loved spending time at the farm in Gregg Settlement and his camp in Kenneth. But he was even better known for his sense of humor and his amazing 1 liners. He will be greatly missed by all of us.

Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Saturday, January 9, 2016 from 2-4 pm. Interment will be held at a later date. Donation made to DunRoamin or to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
