Beatrice F. Chase

The death of Beatrice Flora Chase of Stickney occurred on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born October 2, 1932 in Bath she was the daughter of the late Beecher and Edna (DeMerchant) Crain. She was also predeceased by her husband, Dean Chase; 2 children, Cary Chase and Sandra Darkis; 3 siblings, Lila Thornhill, John "Jack" Crain and Albert "Buddy" Crain.

Beatrice is survived by her 2 children, Juanita Chase and Wayne Chase; 1 daughter in law, Wendy Chase; 1 son in law, Sam Darkis; 4 grandchildren, Nathan Chase (Michelle), Tiffany Chase, Jason Darkis and Matthew Darkis (Chelsea); 4 great grandchildren, Kadence, Keleigh, Kamden, Claire and Kira as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.

In keeping Beatrice's wishes there will be no visitation. A private graveside service will be held in the Hunter Cemetery. Rev. Paul Smith will officiate. For those who wish donations made to the Hunter Cemetery would be appreciated. www.gibersonfuneraldirectors.ca (506) 392-1115
