Dean S. MacDougall

The death of Dean Stillman MacDougall of Monquart occurred on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born April 5, 1945 in Bath, he was the son of the late Stillman and Bessie (DeMerchant) MacDougall. He was also predeceased by his 2 sisters, Mary Crain and Maxine Broad; 1 brother, Junior Oakes.

Dean is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Linda; 4 daughters, Kathy MacDougall, Kelly MacPhee (Allan), Kim Buchanan (Tom) and Karen Davidson (Calvin); 10 grandchildren, Chelsey, Veronica, Luke, Logan, Liam, Abby, Amber, Kendra, Kristen and Matt; 6 great grandchildren, Asia-Leigh, Keaton, Kaliyah, Stephan, Donovan and Charlotte; 2 brothers, Dennis Oakes and Graydon Oakes (Rose) as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held from L. R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Thursday, May 12, 2016 from 6-9 pm. A funeral service will be held from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel on Friday, May 13, 2016 at 2:00 pm. Interment will be in the Mineral Cemetery.
