Robert R. Ruff

The death of Robert Russell Ruff of Beechwood occurred on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at the Hotel Dieu Hospital, Perth Andover. Born April 24, 1947 in Bath he was the son of the late Ivan and Grace (Hathaway) Ruff.

Robert, although a quiet man, was very kind and compassionate to others. If he wasn't building something, he was spending time at his camp. He enjoyed four wheeling, canoeing, and snowmobiling. He loved his Lord and his family with great devotion. He will be dearly missed.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Gerry; 2 daughters, Karah Raymer (Jeremy) and Sarah Freeman (Matthew); 4 grandchildren, Brooke, Brett, Ashley and Elijah; 3 siblings, Barbara Curtis (Lloyd), Donnie Ruff (Donna) and Janice How (Jonathan) as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held from Holmesville Free Will Baptist Church on Friday, May 13, 2016 from 6-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 14 2016 at 2:00 pm from the church. Rev. Toben Steeves will officiate. Interment will be in the Mineral Cemetery.
