Hollis A. Baker

The death of Hollis Alvin Baker of Aroostock occurred on Monday, July 18, 2016 at his home. Born July 27, 1935 in Tracey Mills he was the son of the late Harold and Dora (Peterson) Baker. He was also predeceased by his first wife, Lois Anne (Hathaway) Baker and his daughter, Lillian Dora Baker.

Hollis is survived by his oldest daughter, Vickie Baker (Shane Smith) of Birch Ridge, NB, youngest daughter, Holly LaKing (Walter) of Strathmore, AB and his only son, Harold Baker of Cibolo, Texas; his second wife, Lois St. Peter Polzin Baker; 2 step children Jeff Polzin and Cindy Polzin Muelken; 19 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 5 siblings, Ilene, Dalton, Ray, Paul and Paulette as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Thursday, July 21, 2016 from 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 2:00 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Michael Palmer will officiate. Interment will be in the Simonds Cemetery.
