Avis M. Giberson

The death of Avis Marie Giberson of Bath occurred on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at River View Manor. Born July 10, 1925 she was the daughter of the late Colin and Rosie (Lindsay) Nicholson. She was also predeceased by her husbands, Paul Tapley and Bertrand Giberson; 2 children, Larry Tapley and Gretchen Jensen; 1 infant grandson and 1 brother, Vaughn Nicholson.

Avis is survived by her 2 daughters, Darlene DeMerchant (Clifford) and Paula Giberson; 10 grandchildren, Kimberly, Krista, Karalee, Kevin, Kirby, Bethany, Paul, Sheena, Lindsay and Angel; 16 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 from 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 7, 2016 at 11:00 am from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in the Bristol Community Cemetery.
