Phyllis E. Purinton

Phyllis Etta Purinton of Florenceville-Bristol, passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. She was born May 24, 1932 and was the daughter of the late Oscar and Mildred DeLong. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a great Grandson, Micah Vale; siblings, Fern DeLong, Basil (Madeline) DeLong, Chester (Agatha) DeLong, Charlie DeLong, Dora Clark, Ross DeLong.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, Ron Purinton of Florenceville-Bristol; children, Meda (Bill) Graham of Nackawic, Nancy (Randy) Reed of Plaster Rock, Bev (Kathy) Purinton of Saint John, David (Maryann) Purinton of Florenceville-Bristol; grandchildren, Greg (Sarah Kidd) Graham, Ellen (Mark) Vale, Jessica (Nick) Shaw, Cole Reed, Benn Purinton, Julia Purinton, Nicholas Purinton, Mitchell Purinton; great grandchildren, Nora Vale, Everett Vale, Everly Shaw, Wyatt Shaw; brother, Ervine (Bonnie) DeLong; sisters-in-law, Doris DeLong, Rhonda Pelkey; brothers-in-law, George Clark, Vear (Una) Purinton.

Visitation will be held at L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Road, Florenceville-Bristol on Thursday, February 22nd from 4 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 23rd at 2:00 p.m. from True North Baptist Church with Pastor Michael Palmer officiating.
