Jennie Y. Southan

The death of Jennie Yvonne Southan of Wicklow occurred on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. Born in Wicklow, November 7, 1946 she was the daughter of the late Isabelle Crawford. She was also predeceased by her brother, Durward; son in law, Ian Hunter.


Jennie is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Lloyd; 3 children, Francie Watson (Tony), Karen Southan (Donnie Wolverton) and Nicholas Southan (Kathryn); 4 grandchildren, Sydney and Sophie Watson and Madison and Isabella Southan; 6 siblings, Dolores Toner, Nadine Toner (Guy), Mike Crawford (Kathy), Terry Crawford (Linda), Kevin Crawford and Margaret DeMerchant (Gary) as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.


Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Monday, June 18, 2018 from 5-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Harold Sparkes will officiate. The interment will be held in the Wicklow Community Cemetery. Donations made to the Wicklow United Baptist Church, Wicklow Cemetery or the Upper River Valley Cancer Support Group would be appreciated.
