Annetta "Anne" M. Ebbett
It is with great sadness that the family of Annetta Mabel Dykeman Ebbett (Anne), widow of Harry Edwin Ebbett announces her passing in her 93rd year which occurred on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at the Upper River Valley Hospital , Waterville surrounded by her family .

Born April 15, 1927 (Good Friday) at the Victoria Public Hospital, Fredericton, NB, Anne was the eldest child of Hedley David Dykeman and Mabel Irene (Matthews) Dykeman. She was a loving wife for 60 years, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Anne and her parents and siblings lived in Biggar Ridge and she attended eight grades of school there and graduated from the Juniper Superior School, Provincial Normal School and the University of New Brunswick. She taught for many years in Northern Carleton County: Divide, East Glassville, Bristol, Upper Kent, Bath and Florenceville. Anne had many happy memories of the students she taught.In 1953, Anne married Harry E. Ebbett of Upper Kent and lived in Upper Kent for many years.

Anne is survived by her three children: Emerson Ebbett (Shelley); Stephanie Ebbett-McCarthy (Dave); Rita Ebbett: three grandchildren; Laura Cook (Ben), Martha McIntosh (Phil Feenstra), Cedric McIntosh (Grace Kary) and one sweet little Great Grandson, Thomas Cook; one brother; Perley Dykeman (Marilyn); two sisters, Dorothy Campbell (late Verdell), Beatrice Mary Cattelle (late Dean), Sister-in-Law Charlotte Dykeman; many nieces and nephews. Anne was predeceased by her parents, brother Peter Dykeman and sister Helena Crabbe (late Harold).
Anne so enjoyed gardening in her flower beds - she loved flowers and was well known for her beautiful rose beds and in later years, her fabulous display of Day Lilies. Other interests were travelling, especially cruising, with Harry to all points around the globe, nature, wildlife, reading, music, home and family.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2020 from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol from 5-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 16, 2020 at 11:00 am from Faith Memorial United Church, 175 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol. Rev. Susan Estabrooks will officiate. The interment will be in the Wharton Cemetery at a later date.
