It is with profound sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Virginia Greene of Greenfield. Her death occurred on Friday, December 3, 2021 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Dorothy was born February 22, 1937 in Greenfield and was the daughter of the late Winston and Helen (Libby) Sipprell. She was also predeceased by her beloved husband of 49 years, Donald; grandson, Brandon; 2 brothers, Gaylon and Delmont.

She leaves to mourn her passing, but to celebrate her life, her four children, Kim Brooks, Rodney Greene (Laura), Sandy Antworth (Eugene) and Darrell Greene (Lisa); 10 grandchildren, Jaime McCormick (Trevor), Kaitlyn Greene, Ryan Brooks, Maren Antworth, Lauren Gray (Jamie), Ethan Antworth (Mollie), Graeham Greene (Kelli), Greyson Antworth, Mariah Greene (Cecil) and Meredith Greene (Eric); 2 great grandchildren, Asher and Claira; 2 sisters in law, Shirley Sipprell and Jean Sipprell as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Dorothy loved life, God, her family and friends, nature, flowers, farming, animals and especially her dog, Rusty. She exemplified a life that was well lived. In everything she did, Dorothy accomplished it with deep love, quiet mannered patience, commitment and a tireless perseverance. She filled her days with thoughtful, generous deeds for others and her warmth that radiated from her loving heart was known by so many and all are richer for it.

Visitation will be from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 4-8 pm. Respecting COVID -19 regulations face masks, proof of vaccination and government issued ID are required. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 3:00 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Susan Estabrooks will officiate. For those unable to attend the funeral service it will be live streamed through the L.R. Giberson FaceBook page. A private family interment will be in the Greenfield Cemetery. For those who wish, donations made to the Greenfield Cemetery, NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated.
