Marlene A. MacFarlane

The death of Marlene Anne MacFarlane of Fredericton occurred on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton. Marlene was born January 23, 1946 in Woodstock and was the daughter of the late Austin and Velma (Jamieson) Kilpatrick. She was also predeceased by her husband, Darrell Ellis; 1 son, Michael Ellis; 1 nephew, Jeffrey Kilpatrick.

Marlene experienced family tragedy in her young years and it continued into her married life while raising four children. In the early 1980s she followed her dreams which lead her to Ontario to become a top real estate agent in the city of Windsor. She had many good years filled with love, travel, prosperity, and pleasure. She loved to dance, enjoyed live music, good food, and cherished close friendships.

Marlene is survived by her 3 children, Gregory Ellis, Lori Ellis McKinney and Andrew MacFarlane; 4 grandchildren, Brandon, Jeffrey (Katlyn), Kristen (Ben) and Hanna; 1 great grandson, Callum; 1 brother, Grover Kilpatrick (Carol) and his daughter, Gracelyn Kilpatrick.
