Idris L Lawrence

Idris Leland Lawrence passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at his home in Lower Knoxford. Born June 14, 1905 he was the son of the late Ransford and Ida (Margison) Lawrence. Besides his parents He was predeceased by his wife, Myrtle (Brown) Lawrence; son, Roland Lawrence; grand daughter, Pamela Graham; great grandson, John Lawrence; great great grand daughter, Debbie Greasey; son-in-law, Joseph Lee; sisters, Rena, Bird and Verna; brothers, Hollis and Renald.

Lawrence is survived by his children, Leslie (Connie) Lawrence of Presque Isle, ME, Orval (Maxine) Lawrence of Lower Knoxford, NB, Opal Lee of Presque Isle, ME, Lorena (Philip) Grass of Millinocket, ME; daughter-in-law, Darlene Lawrence of Knoxford, NB; grandchildren, Crystal (Paul) Sills, Valerie (Shelbrin) Levesque, Kendill (Lisa) Lawrence, Lionel (Melinda) Lawrence, Lisa (Leviette) Cassista, Violet (Sheldon) Wilcox, Idris (Susan) Lawrence, Iris (Ervin) Brown, Sandra (Kenneth) Wells, Leslie (Keith) Ireland, Becky (Victor) Martinez, Debbie(Melvin) Paget, Jody (Ruth) Lawrence, Michael (Tina) Lee, Alan Grass, Michelle (Timothy) King; grandson-in-law, Preston Graham; 32 great grandchildren; 34 great great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Resting at the Knoxford Praying Band Church, 3866 Route 560, Lower Knoxford with visiting hours on Tuesday, October 9th from 7-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, October 10th from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the church on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. with Rev Andy DeRier officiating.
