Joseph Richard "Rick" Gervais

The death of Joseph Richard "Rick" Gervais of Hartland occurred on Friday, May 10, 2013 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born September 19, 1947 in Rosthern, Saskatchewan he was the son of Lillian (Pilon) Markwart and the late George Gervais. He was also predeceased by his step father, Alec Markwart.

Rick is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Tammy (Broad) Gervais; 2 sons, Rodney Gervais(Dorinda)and Steven Gervais (Rhonda); 5 grandchildren, Haley, Grayson, Connor, Dean Jaxon and Dillon; his mother, Lillian Markwart; 5 siblings, Wayne Markwart (Margaret), Linda Loton (Robert), Diane Grant (Tim), Debbie Markwart and Kalvin Markwart and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Monday, May 13, 2013 from 6-9 pm. A Celebration of Rick's Life will be held Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at 2:00 pm.
