Sherman L. Orser

The death of Sherman Lord Orser of Juniper occurred on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at his home. Born in Hartland, April 16, 1938 he was the son of the late Lord and Hettie (Kinney) Orser. He was also predeceased by 2 brothers, Bradford and Earl; 1 sister, Beatrice.

Sherman is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Mary Julienne; 4 sons, Leonard, Gary (Marie-France), Daniel (Tina) and Steven (September); 9 grandchildren, Mitchell, Caroline, Alissa, Cameron, Isaiah, Breanna, Adison, Shelby and Caden; 3 sisters, Joyce Boyd, Audrey Palmer and Rosetta Elliott (Elmer) as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Wednesday, March 12 from 7-9 pm and Thursday, March 13, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 11:00 am from St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Juniper. Fr. Owen Burns as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Anthony's cemetery at a later date.
