B. Ray Allen

The death of Burden "Ray" Allen of Bristol occurred on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born April 9, 1927 in Knoxford he was the son of the late Bruden and Lallah (Haines) Allen. He was also predeceased by his wife Lillian (nee Campbell) Allen; 7 siblings, Ruby, Bessie, Harry, Ethel, Lavonia, Almedia and Gwendolyn.

Ray is survived by his 4 children, Raynold Allen (Mary), Fred Allen (Alma), Shelley McKenzie and Ken Allen (Jennifer); 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Wanda Smith and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. on Saturday, May 31, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at 2:00 pm. Rev.
