Sylvain F. Comeau

The death of Sylvain Frank Comeau of Juniper occurred on Friday, May 30, 2014 at his home. Born August 25, 1928 in Leech, NB he was the son of the late Francis and Josephine (Basque) Comeau. He was also predeceased by his 2 sons, Claude and Burt and 3 sisters, Delia, Domatilda and Josephine.

Sylvain is survived by his loving wife, Marilyn; 8 children, Walter Richard (Avis), Diane Foster (David), Madeline Comeau, Dennis Comeau (Debbie), Linda Anderson (Dale), Sylvie Tardiff (Rene), Elizabeth Comeau (Brent) and Peter Comeau; 17 grandchildren, Tina, Tera, Louise, Mark, Jon, Sherry, Daniel, Alex, Brandon, Jackie, Eric, Katrina, Kyle, George, Alaska, Andrew and Adam; 13 grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held from St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Juniper on Sunday, June 1, 2014 from 3-5 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 2, 2014 at 11:00 am from the church. Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. For those who wish donations made to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated. L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors are entrusted with the arrangements.
