Dwight L. Antworth

Dwight Lester Antworth, 60 of Centreville, NB and formerly of Knoxford, NB, passed peacefully at his home on Thursday, October 9, 2014. He was born February 28, 1954, in Woodstock, NB, and was the son of the late Lester and Laura Jean (Keyes) Antworth. He was a devoted son, loving brother and caring uncle.

Lovingly survived by his siblings; Gail Reid (Richard), Mary Jane Clark (Dale), Wallace Antworth (Nancy), Eugene Antworth (Sandy), Kevin Antworth (Krista) and aunts; Sharral Goodwin (Al) of Dartmouth, NS, Myrtle Culberson of Jacksonville and Lana McKay of Woodstock. Dwight is also dearly remembered by his nieces and nephews; Ross Clark, Emily Reid, Jacqueline Antworth, Brittany Antworth, , Maren Antworth, Lauren Antworth, Ethan Antworth, Greyson Antworth, Eric Smith and Drake Antworth; cousins and a wealth of friends.

Dwight loved farming, driving truck and four-wheeling. One of his greatest joys in life was talking with people, whether it was to give a mini history lesson, recounted with complete, accurate details from memory, or to weave a story where his sense of fun and quick -witted humor inevitably would surface.

To celebrate his life, visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd, Florenceville- Bristol on Sunday, October 12, 2014 from 2-4 pm and 7-9pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13, 2014 at 2:00pm from the L.R.Giberson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Andrew DeRier will officiate.
