Elizabeth "Betty" Doherty

The death of Elizabeth "Betty" Doherty formerly of Juniper occurred on Monday, November 17, 2014 at River View Manor. Born August 22, 1922 in Edinburgh, Scotland she was the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret (Patterson) Ingham. She was also predeceased by her husband, Edward; 3 son, Eddie, Benny and Jeffery; 1 brother, Robert; 1 sister, Alice and 1 son in law, Gerald Jordan.

Betty is survived by her 4 children, Barbara Jordan, Robert Doherty (Rosie), Monica McBrine (Francis) and James Doherty (Valerie); 14 grandchildren; 2 daughters in law, Karen and Faye; 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Betty was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Thursday, November 20, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held Friday, November 21, 2014 at 2:00 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Carroll Carter will officiate. Interment will be in the Pine Tree Cemetery, Bath.
