Graydon V. Broad

The death of Graydon Vaughn Broad of Bath occurred on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born January 6, 1925 in Holmesville, he was the son of the late Emery and Lewena (Kinney) Broad. He was also predeceased by his son, Brent and 2 brothers, Austin and Wavel.

Graydon is survived by his loving wife, Natalie; 2 daughters, Marlene Watt (Jim) and Beridine Chapman (Rick); daughter in law, Jan Broad; 3 step children, Malcolm Perkins (Nancy), Colleen Dean (Ralph) and Pamela McLean (Kiiyu) 14 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; special great grandson, Jack Graydon Scoville; 3 sisters, Viona DeMerchant, Lois Broad, and Maxine Townsley (Chuck); 1 brother, Winston "Junior" Clark; special fishing buddy and cousin, Emery Kinney as well as nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held from the Homlesville Free Will Baptist Church on Thursday, December 4, 2014 from 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held Friday, December 5, 2014 at 1:00 pm from the church. Rev. Toben Steeves will officiate. Interment will be held in the adjoining church cemetery. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 37, Florenceville will hold a tribute service Thursday evening at 8:00 pm.
