Edmund Gallagher

The death of Edmund Gallagher of Johnville, occurred on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville. Born November 5, 1928 in Moose Mountain He was the son of the late Charles and Geneva (Dooley) Gallagher. he was also predeceased by 2 daughters, Carmel and Joanne; 1 grand son, Seagan Brown; 1 son in law, O.J. Brown; 2 sisters, Mary Gallagher and Winnifred Riley; 2 brothers, Walter and Donnie Gallagher.

Edmund is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Dorothy; 8 children, Jean Briggs (Gary), Ron Gallagher (Elva), Judy Guerrier (Mike), Lois Fisher (Charles), Mary Brown, Suzanne Burke (David), Cathy Pickard (Terry) and Joyce Boyd (Martin); son in law, Danny Pickard; 33 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; 5 siblings, Marilyn Denny (Ken), Monica Dugan, Helen Denny, Gerald Gallagher (Ruth) and Greg Gallagher as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Friday, December 5, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 11:00 am from St. John the Evangelist Church, Johnville. Fr. Owen Burns as celebrant. A private interment will be held at a later date.
