Rodney L. Currie

On Friday, January 2, 2015 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville Rodney Lee Currie formerly of Bristol went home to be with his Lord. Born February 9, 1953 in Bath he was the son of the late Arthur and Zola (Hatheway) Currie.

Rodney is survived by 1 sister, Judy Smith (Gerald); 1 brother, Glen Currie (Mary); 8 nieces and nephews, Karen, Adrian, Susan, Wayne, David, Jason, Lori Ann and Daniel; 18 great nieces and nephews; 1 aunt, Marie Orser; 1 uncle, Rev. Garth Hatheway (Phoebe) and several cousins.

Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 1:00 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Kent McKay and Rev. H.M. Lewis will officiate. Interment will be in the Lower Florenceville Baptist Cemetery.
