Neil Lovely

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Neil Cameron Lovely of Gordonsville which occurred on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville at the age of 85. Born in Gordonsville on July 26, 1929 he was the son of the late Kenneth and Edith (Rogers) Lovely. He was also predeceased by 1 son, Frank; 1 grand daughter, Brenda; 2 brothers, Olin and Aubrey.

Neil is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Myrna (Haynes) Lovely; his 4 daughters, Lorna Smith (Arthur), Heather Osbak (Curtis), Lori DeMerchant (Paul) and Nancy Hallett (Neil); 9 grandchildren; 11 great grand children; 2 sisters, Hazel Giberson and Edna Lyon as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 from 4-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at 11:00 am from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Pastor Vaughan Palin will officiate. Interment will be in the Gordonsville Community Cemetery at a later date.
