Sadie Guthrie

The death of Sadie Ann Guthrie formerly of Glassville occurred on Friday, July 24, 2015 at the River View Manor, Bath. Born May 17, 1930 in Biggar Ridge she was the daughter of the late Clinton and Rita (Biggar) Boyd. She was also predeceased by her husband, Claude; 2 sons, Stephen Guthrie and infant son baby Guthrie; 2 grandsons, Christopher Guthrie and infant grandson Baby Corey; 2 siblings, Frederick and Dawn.

Sadie is survived by her 9 children, Richard Guthrie (Nancy), Brian Guthrie (Janet), Susan Dore (Duane), Karen Steeves (Brian), Kim Hovey (Norman), Graham Guthrie (Barb), Nancy Guthrie, Cindy Corey (Mitchell) and Claude Randal Guthrie (Susie); 27 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Lynda McKeen (David) and Tammie Boone (Lee) as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 from 6-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 30, 2015 at 2:00 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Christ Anglican Church Cemetery, Glassville.
