Following high school, Marilyn attended and graduated from Vocational school. She married John Crawford November 3, 1948 and started a new life in Royalton N.B. farming. She was a devoted wife and Mother to her children. Her Faith and her Family were the most important things in her life. She made our house a home and taught us by example, many lessons of life. We have so many precious memories.
Marilyn and John were always together and on 08/06/2001, John wrote on behalf of himself and his wife Marilyn;
The Farmer
All we wanted was the best.
To watch the fields after a night time shower, To see fog in the hollow.
To watch the mist rise off the meadow
To watch the crops grow, to watch the calves frolicking in the pasture.
To watch the sunrise and the sunset.
To watch the seasons come and go
To smell the hay in the newly mowed fields. To smell the hay in the barn
as we fill it in the summer. To watch for the first robin. To smell the
newly worked soil. To watch for the first potato to break the ground.
To smell the apple blossoms and lilacs.
To watch for the first snow on the mountain as we gather our crops in.
To watch for the flocks of geese heading south, fall is at hand.
To support our church, our community and our country. To see our
Grandchildren for the 4th generation.
To walk hand in hand with the Almighty.
