Bruce H. Jensen

It is with heavy hearts that the family announce the sudden passing of Bruce Harold Jensen which occurred on Sunday, September 10, 2023. Bruce was born in Plaster Rock on August 28, 1961 and was the son of the late Walter and Hazel (Brannen) Jensen.

He is survived by his 2 sons, Scott and Jason Jensen; 6 siblings, Julia Goodine (Glen), Caroline Aiton (Jeff), Judy Jensen, Larry Jensen (Eileen), Johnny Jensen (Rhonda) and Clayton Jensen (late Carolann); special aunt, Sylvia Grant of Nova Scotia as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Bruce was a graduate of Tobique Valley High School and Maritime Forest Ranger School where he received the “Most Outstanding Student” award of his graduating class. Graduating from Maritime Forest Ranger School was his goal that he achieved through determination and hard work, he was so proud.
Bruce loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting were passions of his as well as skiing, four wheeling and sledding. His spring salmon trips to the Miramichi will always be remembered.
After retiring from the Department of Natural Resources with 30 plus years of service, Bruce found his passion by hobby farming. He loved his cows and the joy that came with farming.
His new found sport was Pickleball. He loved it and excelled like all the things he turned his hand too. Some of the best times were playing with his sons and always with a competitive spirit.

Respecting Bruce’s wishes there will be no formal services. By request of the family, donations made to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors are entrusted with the arrangements.
