Burton Jamieson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Burton Ronald Jamieson of Woodstock, NB at the age of 65.

Born May 5, 1958, in Grand Falls, NB and was the son of Rita (Jamieson) Harrison and the late Ronald Burton Jamieson. He was predeceased by sister Donna Tracy and nephew Jason Lovely.

Burton is survived by wife Katherine, daughter Karrie (Josh) Adams, Pembroke, NB and sister Diane Lovely (Mac Dunnett) and several beloved nephews and nieces.

Burton loved his trucking for over 20 plus years. Everyone he met he soon won over their friendship. He would have returned to the freedom of the highway if his health had allowed.

Special thanks to the Upper River Valley Hospital, Nurse Berniece who was kind enough to support us in Burton’s final moments along with the many doctors and nurses who cared for Burton.

Huge thank you to the Hemodialysis Unit, especially Dawn and Erin, who went above and beyond for Burton and his family.

Visitation will be held at L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Saturday, December 2, 2023, from 1:00 - 2:45 pm. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Pastor Nathan Smith will officiate. The interment will be in the Wicklow Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the URVH Hemodialysis Unit or Wicklow Cemetery would be appreciated.
