It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ella Mae Jordan, our dearly loved mother, who departed peacefully surrounded by her family on March 6th. Ella leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and culinary excellence that will be cherished by all who knew her.

Ella was a loving wife and mother. Family was immeasurably important to her, and she led by example with her gentle nature. Both she and Dad raised 5 children while running a farm in Divide. Mom spent her life immersed in the joys of quilting, knitting, tole-painting, and cooking. Her passion for these creative pursuits was evident in every stitch, brushstroke, and dish she made, infusing each with a unique blend of love and skill.

Mom made quilts into timeless treasures with countless stories tied to them. They always served as a symbol for the love she had for her family, and her boundless creativity. Ella was also a skilled knitter, making clothing with care that kept her loved ones warm. Mom's artistic talents extended beyond fabric and yarn. She was skilled with a paint brush, and this was clear in her many tole-painting crafts.

Mom was a phenomenal cook, and always had a wonderful meal ready for anyone who wandered through her door. Her meals brought family and friends together around the table in celebration of life's simple pleasures. Her kitchen was a place of warmth and hospitality.

Mom’s spirit lives on in the memories she created and the love she shared with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her, but her legacy of love, creativity, and warmth will continue to inspire us for many years to come.

Ella is survived by her 5 children, Nancy O'Donnell (Jason Lint), Susan Bulmer (Wayne), Sally Morgan (Everett), Barbara Christensen (Donald), William Jordan (Tammy); 12 grandchildren, Jim O'Donnell, David O'Donnell, Karri McLean, Michael McLean, Barbara Tompkins, Tina Orser (Daniel), David Scott (Melissa), Amanda Baumann (Michael), Jordan Christensen (Summer), Ryan Christensen (Katherine), William Christensen (Melissa), Wesley Jordan (Tania Sepulveda); 23 great grandchildren, Miranda O'Donnell, Seth O'Donnell, Alaina O'Donnell, Charlee O'Donnell, Mitchell McLean, Abigail McLean, Emma St. Amand, Milly McLean-Lacaille, Silas McLean-Lacaille, Meadow McLean-Lacaille, Aiden Dickinson, Landen Dickinson, Willa Dickinson, Cameron Orser, Isaiah Orser, Alyssa Orser, Logan Scott, Konnor Baumann, Ella Baumann, Greyson Christensen, Magnus Jordan-Sepulveda, Rafael Jordan-Sepulveda, and Zafira Jordan-Sepulveda; 5 great great grandchildren, Devilin McLean, Finley DeMerchant, Rylee DeMerchant, Chandler Orser and Victoria Smith; 1 brother, Dale Pye (Sheila); 2 sisters, Marie Dyer and Joyce Watson as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
