James P. Spence

James Phillip Spence passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at his home in Perth Andover, NB. He was born September 7, 1956, and was the son of the late Harry and Aileen Spence. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Sheila Pevey.

James is survived by his wife, Bonnie Spence; children, Shawna Spence (John MisKimen), Matthew Spence (Emma Joynes); granddaughter, Gwen Broad; stepdaughter, Angela Simpson (Clay Shaw); step grandchildren, Nigel Perley, Paige Simpson; brothers, Bob Spence (Jan Brewer), Iain Spence (Kathleen), Andrew Spence; nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel, 207 Burnham Road, Florenceville-Bristol, with Rev. Shirley DeMerchant officiating. The interment will be in the Wharton Cemetery in Upper Kent.
