Berlin P. Broad

The death of Berlin Preston Broad of Beechwood occurred on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family. Berlin was born September 4, 1939, in Beechwood and was the son of the late Howard and Ellen (Kinney) Broad. He was also predeceased by his wife Arlene; siblings, Raymond, Earl, Sherdon “June”, Garnet, Ervine “Spank”, Phillip, Fred, Shirley, Donald, James, Ruthie and 2 infant brothers, Freddy, Gerald.

Berlin is survived by his 4 children, Arnold Broad (Sheila), Wanda Seely (Weldon), Carol Anderson (Brent) and Ronald Broad (Barbie); 11 grandchildren, Ryan Anderson, Cara Anderson, Danita Stephenson, Kyle Seely, Scott Broad, Travis Broad, Jason Dickinson, Michelle Dickinson, Steven Broad, Jordan Broad and Shane Broad; several great grandchildren; 1 brother, Claude Broad (Betty) as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 6-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 2 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. The interment will be held in the Fielding Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations made to the River Valley Cancer Support Group, Fielding Cemetery or the Extra Mural Program, Perth Andover would be appreciated.
