Mum was a stay at home Mum until later in life where she worked as a secretary at the Potato Agency in Florenceville, NB and then worked as a cashier at Walmart in Woodstock, NB for ten years. She loved her job at Walmart and made some great friends. Mum loved hockey! She was a big fan of the Montreal Canadiens and she didn’t miss too many games. She had hockey on her TV and on her tablet so she could watch every game. Game night she had her coke, one of her favourite snacks and cheered her team on!
Mum travelled on a few bus tours which she really enjoyed and made new friends. She also enjoyed visiting Beryl in Florida where they would drive around with the top down on Beryl’s convertible while getting a sundae. When Mum lived in Wicklow, NB, she enjoyed sitting in her gazebo and loved her flowers.
Mum loved the ocean, lighthouses and she would post many different lighthouses on facebook. Mum embraced technology with her great posts on Facebook, connecting with all her friends, sharing pictures and she also learned how to download books on her tablet. Mum really enjoyed her books.
Mum spent the last two years of her life building a new home at the River View Manor. Mum received beautiful care at the manor with love and respect. She gained a new family.
