Charlie E. Upton

The death of Charles Eugene Upton, of Centreville, NB occurred on June 26, 2026. He was born on May 26, 1949 to the late Eugene and Inez (Hemphill) Upton and husband to Joanne (Prior) Upton.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Joanne; 2 daughters, Cheryl Szanto (David) and Sarah Upton (Aaron); his grandchildren, Alex, Aiden and Makena; Brother, Ron Upton (Carla) and well as many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol, NB, on Thursday, July 2, 2026 from
12:00 noon ~ 1:30pm. The Celebration of Charlie’s Life will begin at 2:00 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel with Pastor Rich Woolin officiating. Interment will be in the Centreville Baptist Cemetery at a later date.

For those who wish, the family has requested memorial donations be made to the Centreville Baptist Church Building Fund as this is something Charlie had been very passionate about.
