Gladys I. Walton

The death of Gladys Inez Walton of Upper Kent occurred on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at River View Manor, Bath, NB. Gladys was born May 2, 1944, in Bath, she was the daughter of the late Perley and Hazel (Taylor) Crain. Gladys was also predeceased by her sister Marie Walton and infant brother, Lyle Crain.

Gladys is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, James; 3 sons, Scott McQuade, Todd Walton (Lisa) and Mitchell Walton; 6 grandchildren, Jamie McQuade, Natalie Lucas (Chris), Marissa Walton, Bradley Walton (Kelli), Brittany Bordage (Jordan) and Brandon Walton; 5 great grandchildren, Christan, Anthony, Cale, Kenna and Micky; 3 siblings, Shirley Walton (Arthur), Claude Crain (Sandra) and Douglas Crain as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville-Bristol on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 6-8 pm. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at 1 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Jeremie Bosse will officiate. The funeral will be livestreamed on the L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors FaceBook page.The interment will be in the Wharton Cemetery. For those who wish memorial donations made to Bannon Children’s Camp would be appreciated.
