Willard A. Giberson

The death of Willard Absalom Giberson of Bath, NB occurred on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at his home with his family by his side. Willard was born on January 3, 1938, in Bath, NB to the late Watts and Elizabeth (Rideout) Giberson. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family, being predeceased by his sisters, Josephine, Madeline, and Hazel, and brothers, Daniel and William.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Mavis; 3 daughters, Rhonda Smith (Randi), Julie Clark (Mike), and Victoria Hillman (Frank); 6 grandchildren, Sommer Smith, Mason Smith (Naomi), Sydney Broad (Roderick), Nigel Hillman (Emma), Grayson Clark (Curtis), Jordyn Clark (Tristan) and their father, Jeff Clark; 4 great-grandchildren, Logan, Braxton, Jonah, and Lincoln as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors at 207 Burnham Rd, Florenceville-Bristol on Monday, July 27, 2026, from 12:00 - 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 1:30PM. Rev. Paula Ryan will officiate. The interment will be in the Bristol Free Will Baptist Cemetery.
