Rowena G. Butterfield

The death of Rowena Gladys Butterfield occurred on Wednesday, July 22, 2026. Rowena was born on December 29, 1950. She was the daughter of the late Lewis and Josephine (Bloodsworth) Patterson. Rowena was also pre-deceased by her sister Sharon Patterson, her daughter-in-law Vickie Diamond, and her husband Roy Butterfield.

Rowena is survived by her daughter Darva (Corey), sons Leon and Ben (Diane); 10 grandchildren Mitchell, Warren, Colter, Duke, Emily, Cole, Karamia, Maisie, Larkin, and Royce; 4 great-grandchildren Aisling, Aurora, Cohen, and Ryland; 8 siblings, Kempton, Ervine (Marilyn), Opal (George), Orpha, Arnold (Patsy), Marilyn (Dave), Heather, and Kathy (Myles); her best friend of many years, Betty Cahill; as well as several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd, Florenceville-Bristol on Saturday, July 25, 2026 from 6 - 8 PM. The funeral service will be held Sunday, July 26, 2026, at 2PM from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. The interment will be in the Mineral Cemetery. For those who wish, donations made to Bannon Bible Camp or Camp Shiktehawk would be appreciated.
