Waymond "Sam" Ruff

The death of Waymond Vernon Ruff “Sam” of Beechwwod occurred on Friday, September 23, 2011 at the Upper River Valley Hospital. Born April 19, 1926 in Giberson Settlement he was the son of the late Densmore and Goldie Haggerman (Ruff) and husband of the late Margaret (Ramey) Ruff.

Sam is survived by his 5 children, Hilda Sogolaw (Robert), Louise Farmsworth (Karl), Dorene Clinton (John), William and George (Mary Ann); 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; 1 sister Lillian Robertson and many extended family that loved him dearly.

He was predeceased by his parents, wife, Margaret, 3 children, James, Donna and Robert, 6 siblings, Cecil, Raymond, Ivan, Weldon, Russell and Lila.

Visitation will be held from L.R. Giberson Funeral Directors, 207 Burnham Rd. Florenceville - Bristol on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A legion service will be held Tuesday evening at 6:45 pm. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 1:00 pm from the L.R. Giberson Funeral Chapel. Rev. Rick Murray will officiate. Interment will be in the Mineral Cemetery.
